Today more than ever, innovation is the key to survival and long-term success. Those who have the aptitude for identifying opportunities, creative thinking, problem solving, and risk taking will elevate the economic base within our state and lead to global recognition of Indiana as an innovation leader.
Now in our fifth year, the Indiana Innovation Awards seek to recognize those individuals and organizations who are successfully leading the innovation charge in our state. Over the next few months, we will be accepting nominations and entries for the only broad-based innovation awards focused on Indiana. This annual celebration culminates at the Day of Innovation this fall when Centric brings together the best and brightest minds driving Indiana innovation.
The Indiana Innovation Awards are a program of Centric, Indy’s Innovation Network. Check out our latest monthly event at CentricIndy.org, and stay up-to-date with all of the best Indiana Innovation news by signing-up for our newsletter.

Loxa Beauty was founded in 2011 by Janell Shaffer and Danielle McDowell to bridge the gap between the salon and online product sales. Prior to Loxa Beauty, professional salons and stylists were often cut out of the hair care and styling product purchases their clients made online. With online purchases becoming the new norm, this meant that industry professionals were losing out on a major source of revenue. Loxa Beauty is the solution to that problem; with every online purchase Loxa Beauty gives a commission to a professional salon and/or stylist of the customer’s choice.See Video
